Beaver Borough has announced plans to aggressively work toward putting an end to traffic problems that have plagued the town since the advent of the horseless carriage.
Council voted last week to approve a series of stop signs, traffic lights, and handicap crosswalks, that they say will significantly cut down on motor vehicle accidents.
“I’m so happy to hear Council is finally going to take care of this problem” said Shirley, a long time resident of Beaver “I’ve had three pedestrians hit my car in the past month.”
Other residents of Beaver say they’ve had to run into other cars to avoid collisions, and have complained about park benches and trees that make travel on the two outermost lanes hazardous.
